Southern Bride & Groom 2013 Fashion & Beauty Photo Shoot
Lana Addison Bridal was excited to work with Southern Bride & Groom on their 2012 publication. We were asked to help find a gown that would be perfect for their silver anniversary photo shoot. The featured gown was a boat neck, cap sleeve, beaded bodice tulle dress by designer Theia. Gowns by Martina Liana and Pronovias were also featured throughout the fashion & beauty photo shoot as well as the floral photo shoot.
We were excited to also have two of our brides featured in the real weddings portion of the magazine. Bride Amanda Christopher wore a strapless beaded bodice mermaid gown by Coco Anais and Shereen Katra wore a slim metallic silk taffeta gown by Nicole Miller.
Cary Magazine February 2012
Cary Magazine once again enlisted Lana Addison Bridal’s help on wedding trends in their February 2012 article tilted “Wedding Whites”. The cover of the issue featured a silk organza dropped waist mermaid gown embellished with lace by Martinia Liana. The article also featured a modified A-line, silk taffeta gown with beaded belt by designer Martina Liana.
Summer 2010 - Top Wedding Trends
Cary Magazine contacted Lana Addison Bridal to learn the latest in bridal fashion for their article titled “Top Wedding Trends”. Below is the interview that was featured.
One of the season’s biggest trends is incorporating
romantic floral elements into the gown, said Alexia Joyce, owner of Lana Addison Bridal in Cary.
Three-dimensional flowers are accenting gowns throughout skirts, soft petals layered on bodices or flower corsages at the waistline or shoulder, she said.
“Pronovias, a designer found exclusively at Lana Addison Bridal, showcases bold uses of flowers in big rose clusters tucked in layers of billowy taffeta,” Joyce said.
The featured dress called Mercadal by Pronovias is a strapless taffeta gown with an asymmetrical rouched dropped waist bodice and a pleated, pick-up skirt with scattered rose clusters.
“Floral accents are a great way to pull various elements of the wedding together and will be a lasting trend for many seasons to come,” she added.
