Kristin & Stephen — Lana Addison Bridal

Kristin and Stephen were acquaintances when they attended the same high school in Cary, NC growing up. Though they only shared a few words, Stephen made an impression on Kristin as the fun-loving soccer player. After college, Kristin made the first move and reached out to Stephen through Facebook! The two met for their first date at the Boylan Bridge Brewpub. Stephen was convinced Kristin wanted a job at his company - little did he know she would become his wife.

The couple’s first home together was in the Oakwood neighborhood located in downtown Raleigh, NC, nearby the Merrimon-Wynne House. They would often take walks by the venue in awe of its beauty and grandeur. When it came to planning their special day, they knew there was no other place to host their friends and family than the classic Merrimon-Wynne House.

Kristin & Stephen opted for a “first touch” rather than a first look. The two exchanged heartfelt letters and enjoyed their last moments alone before becoming husband and wife.

Kristin and Stephen were married in a beautiful Greek ceremony at the Greek Orthodox Church. This was a particularly precious moment for Kristin, as it was the very same church she grew up in with her mother, who’s family is originally from Greece.

After the intimate ceremony, they treated their friends and family to a cocktail hour and a following reception back at the gorgeous Merrimon-Wynne.

Kristin wore a stunning crepe fitted Pronovias gown with a lace off-the-shoulder bodice. She worked with the Lana Addison alterations team to modify the top to reflect her custom vision.
