Whether you found us through Instagram, The Knot or a good ol’ fashioned Google search, we are so happy you’re trusting us with helping you find your wedding dress! After submitting your information via our website or just giving us a call, we’ll follow up with you to find the perfect time for you to come into our salon and be personally assisted by one of our stylists.
We will learn all about your wedding day and personal taste to help pick the best gowns for you to try on. Think of your pre-appointment time as the moment to get everything out on the table. Tell us all about the designers you’ve seen, your favorite dresses on Pinterest and what sort of vibe you’re envisioning. After learning all about what you love, your stylist will set out to pull your line-up of curated gowns, based on your style and budget, while you and your entourage get to sit back and relax before getting to the main event!
When you get pulled back to your appointment room and see your full rack of white dresses, it’s common for brides to feel lots of emotions. Remember, your stylist is not there to pressure you into a particular gown or make you feel like you have to put on a show for her. The best thing you can possibly do is be honest, open and ready for anything!
As you try on dresses, truly listen to your emotions in each gown. A couple will stick out as true contenders while others you can’t wait to take off. At the end of the appointment, each stylist’s goal is to have one to three gowns that you can’t stop thinking about.
We won’t let you leave without going back to your favorite gown(s). We try them back on and put on a veil or headpiece that may help you to feel more bridal (trust us, the veil makes it all so real!). When you’ve narrowed your selection to one gown that truly speaks to you — Listen!
It’s common for brides to get a bit overwhelmed at this point, feeling like it’s too big of a decision or you can’t possibly commit to just one. Remember, none of these dresses are in your room by accident. They were all purposely selected by highly trained stylists. Sure, this may have been your first wedding dress shop or you didn’t think you’d find the “one” today, but trust your gut feeling in the gown. Your appointment at Lana Addison is not about “just trying on” or “being the first stop.” Our goal is for you to leave with a sigh of relief and a smile on your face, knowing that you found your dream gown!
