Hannah & Elijah — Lana Addison Bridal

It was in the empty living room of Hannah and Elijah's newly-purchased home that Elijah arranged a dream setting with flowers and candles to ask her to spend forever with him. The couple had spent the last year and a half of a whirlwind romance making big plans with each other for the future. Standing together in their first home, Hannah said yes and created their first and fondest memory in their home.

In the final month of the couple’s 16-month engagement, COVID-19-related regulations drastically changed Hannah and Elijah’s original wedding plans. Despite not being able to celebrate with a large gathering of dear friends and family, the two were determined to get married on their original wedding date. Their vendor team came together miraculously to create a beautiful intimate setting for the two to share vows and begin their life as husband and wife!

Hannah chose to wear the boho beauty “Galatea” by Willowby by Watters for her special day.

“It was the very first dress I tried on and no others after could compare. I loved how romantic and whimsical it was. I loved how I had never seen anything like it before. And I loved how beautiful it made me feel. I couldn’t imagine saying “yes” to my best friend in anything else.”

Hannah and Elijah’s touching e-ceremony was officiated by her cousin all the way from Portland, Oregon. Their Zoom guests dressed to impress for the occasion and even shared cocktails with the couple after saying “I do!” Afterwards, the couple had their first dance as husband and wife while “Never Fade” by Jack Johnson played on the phone in Elijah’s coat pocket.

The couple was able to celebrate their wedding day by exploring the streets of Charleston, SC with their photographer. Hannah reflects on the experience of running through the empty streets with a happy heart. Bystanders and city strollers shouted their congratulations while Hannah and Elijah captured magical moments in the historic city. After finishing their photos, the newlyweds were celebrated by friends and family through a virtual pizza party in their AirBnB!
